Klein Field Numbers

I am seeking any information about Heinz Josef Klein. From what I can find he imported Plants into Germany during to 80's and produced and distributed seed within Europe with K numbers.

What I am not sure about is did he collect the plants he imported so therefore the K numbers would be field numbers,
or did he give them numbers once they were over here, in which case the K number would be a nuresry / catalogue number.
Does anyone have an original nursery list ? I have found above 50 K numbers relating to Mamms.
