Lau Field Numbers

In 1983 the UK Mammillaria Society launched a survey to see what Lau field collections had found there way into members collections. The result was that out of the 364 relevant Lau number, at the time, 153 could be found in UK collections. By the time Lau stop collecting in 1989 he had made 390 field collections.
After over 20 years some of use would like to revive this survey, to see how many different Lau field numbers are still in our collections, has a testament to Lau's legacy.

Going throught my own collection I have found that I have 74 Lau collections made up of mature plants, seedlings and seed awaiting sowning.

I am asking fellow forum members to take part in this new survey and list ANY Lau field numbers you may have in your collection to help us build up has complete a picture as possible. If you could indicate what you have in the format outlined below I would be grateful. If you have too many field collections to list below then send then to me in a Message or E-mail.
If this proves to be sucessful then I may do the same with Reppenhagen's field numbers.

Thanks for your input Walter. You have been able to add another 13, bringing the number up to 121 collections.
Just to pick up on two lots....In the lau field list 017 is estebanensis, 018 is anglensis and Lau 1345 is listed has longflora.
Regarding Lau 1134. Could you tell me what flower colour this is and if possible, could you E-mail me a photo of the plant. My plant of Lau 1135 is just starting to produce its red flower buds and It would be useful to be able to compare them.

Sorry, it should be 1135 instead of 1345

About the Lau 017, that is a mistake in Filbeams book, it is not comming from Isla Esteban, but from Isla San Lorenzo, and has nothing to do with var.estabenensis.

Thanks for the heads up on that. I will get that checked out with David Hunt who has Lau's data sheets.
There is also a plant missing from the Lau list in Pilbeam's book..
