| I wish I could say that I had grown this from seed, but I can't, as I bought this at an auction last year. But it added two more heads to make 8 in all, and iscoming into flower, so I can claim some part in its upbringing! It's maybe not the most spectacular species, but certainly a lot more than just a clustering form of winterae as Hunt has stated. Its in a 20cm bowl, and needing repotting now its swollen up after a dry winter. _________________ Chris43, moderator

| A very nice bowl, Chris. This specie is very hard to find in nurseries. I got mine from Herr Plein. he took a cutting of a very large clump, but no flowers yet. In the mean while I have sown crassimmammillis two years ago and I have two seedlings left. I only wish that they will grow faster. _________________ Chris admin
