Hi all,

A friend sent me a photo of a mammillaria which was found near Tucson, Arizona. My thoughts go to M. gummifera, or another heyderi-form (bullingtoniana, macdougallii?). Other suggestions?
I found the pink flowers the most remarkable feature of this plant. I have never seen such a pink flowered heyder-like plant. Has anybody ever seen/heard of such a pink flowering heyderi-form from Arizona?

Wolter ten Hoeve.

At first I thought Mammillaria miegiana but grows in Sonora (Mex).
Never seen an heyder-like with flowers so coloured.
Peccato....
