No 2 is definitely M. sphacelata, the flower shape and the dark tipped spine is unmistakeable.
Not sure about No 1 though. It could be the white flowered form of M. sonorensis, based mostly on flower colour and body shape. the spination isn't right, but a number of things can affect the development of spines. Hopefully others will be more definite.
