Hi,
I would suggest that #1 is M. polythele, with quite strong spines, possibly what I called ssp. durispina.
#2 is a bit more of a puzzle, my first thought was coahuilensis, but it has far to few radial spines, so I am moving to heyderi, though the body colour is wrong, and perhaps a few too few radial spines as well, and probably ssp. gummifera.
