| Anyone have an ID on this micro species (and the Gymnocalcyium if you want to)? A friend picked it up for me in Arizona at a tourist shop. The second shot shows it in my hand for a size reference. This is the first it has bloomed, so I decided to post: Thanks for your help, Dustin http://cactguy.tumblr.com |

| Hi Dustin,
As nobody has given a positive ID, I will suggest it is possibly m. albilanata ssp. oaxacana. Unless you know different, I was wondering whether the Gymno is correct and maybe be a corythantha, but could not give an ID.

| I would suggest M. supertexta and support Derek's wonder. It surely looks like a Coyphantha to me. | |
