I just replied to your posting about adding photos. It is clear to me from the above that you haven't copied all of the link. I hope my reply makes sense!
My first thought on your plant is that it probably is either M. rekoi or M. nunezii. There are a lot of variants of each of these species, and I find separating them quite difficult. The lower radial spine count would suggest nunezii rather than rekoi, though the spine colour would suggest rekoi. However both of these species can have a hooked central spine as well as all straight, it's a variable character.
Hmm...difficult...I hope some others will join in and help! I am puzzled....
