This Mammillaria Forum is intended to be an open community of any who are interested in learning more about Mammillarias, Coryphanthas and Escobarias whether novice or expert.

Please make posts to the correct subject or theme. It is very helpfull for other Forum members. Try to post with the correct name of your plant.
If you want to post pictures of plants that have a fieldnumber, use the name name that belong to that specific fieldnumber to avoid confusion. You can put the name you prefer between brackets if you not agree with the given name. This will not be the case if there is no fieldnumber involved, so you can give the name from the classification you prefer.
When you have doubts, you can always ask other members for help for Identification. When posting please consider making the thread title as factual as possible.

Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated Please be aware of copyright issues.

Please remember that you shouldn't include a picture or article from any publication, unless you have the explicit permission of the owner of the material.

The sole purpose of the forum is to discuss plants, their cultivation, their identification, their taxonomy and their habitats. There's no place therefore for discussion of the workings of any cactus society itself, as there are other channels for such issues. I do not think this forum is the place to discuss these emotionally charged topics.
Don't make it personal, the forum is for public discussion, if you have an issue with an another member take it private.
