My Mammillaria bombycina “Colomos”

This is my biggest Mammillaria. It’s been looking like it is going to explode for the last few weeks then more off sets have started to form above the current ones.

This form of M. bombycina is a favourite with me. It will keep offsetting, and make a really nice plant. I grow mine in bowls rather than deeper pots and it seems that this encourages them to spread and not offset furthe rup the mainhead. Mind you, that's only based on a sample of 3 form sof M. bombycina!

This one was in a bowl, outgrew the bowl, I didn’t have any bowls but I now have a bowl for it but will be next year when repotting before it goes in a bowl
