New species described - Mammillaria breviplumosa

Phytotaxa has now published the description of Mammillaroa breviplumosa, a new species from Durango (Mapimi).

Recently during the visit of an collection of “He who must not be named” I was able to see some grafted plants of this species in cultivation. I also have heard some plants on their own roots are already making their way into some collections. Let’s just hope the habitat location won’t make the way to the people who will take advantage of this little beauty.
