I bought this mammillaria last weekend at ELK. the seller could not give the name of the plant.
I looked it up inmammillaria (John Pilbeam) , could it be hahniana subsp. bravoae?

It could be ssp. bravoe, but I'm going more to ssp. woodsii, because of the greater wool, and because your plant has between 2 and 4 central spines.

If the descriptions are to be believed, ssp. bravoe only ever has 2, whereas ssp. woodsii has anything from 2 to 4.
