I would like to post some photos but see that I can't do it from my pc.
Can I post from Dropbox? If so, how do I do this?

Of course you can post from your PC. You follow the instructions to upload to the forum's image host and copy in the link to your message. I don't know about Dropbox directly, but if you have an open access folder on your Dropbox, you should be able to insert a link into your message on this forum. Usually Dropbox is only accessible to those to whom you give access, and also I think, a password.

If you have problems posting contact me and I shall try to help. though as I do not have full internet access at the moment (Jan 5th I hope??) my reaction may not be immediate.

I am still unable to post a photo. Am I in the correct panel? It is different to the one I am writing in now, it has icons in 2 rows. I append the instructions given by yourself previously on this topic with my comments.
I have copied & pasted your instructions exactly as you wrote them, but they do not appear to match up with what appears.

"1 In the "Post a new topic" screen, there are lots of icons just above the box in which you type. There is one, its the 5th in from the right, and when you put your cursor over it, it says "Host an Image".
Comment: The only icon with this is the first on the left on second row of the panel being used. None of the other icons appear to be relevant.

3 When you've found your picture on your computer, click on the "Open" button, and the file will show in the window, and then click "Host It".
Comment: is that the same icon mentioned in 1. above? Appears to be, none of the other icons say this when moused over.

4. You'll see the window change to display three item, named Thumbnail, Image and Image URL.
Comment: The window doesn't change to display these.

5 On the right there is a button for each line named as Copy. The one you want to use is the Image one, ignore the Thumbnail and the Image Url one, and press copy, (which copies alt he cntent of the window), and then the "Upload It" btton below the last line."
Comment: As there are no lines there are no buttons. There is no 'upload it' button below the last line.
I am using Firefox as my browser - never use IE.
Best wishes,
Stephen

Thanks KW for the guide. I have moved house and don't yet have proper internet access, so I am very grateful for the assistance you have given. I do need to update the information written some time ago, but I think your visual guide is great, so if I may, I shall use it to replace my earlier stuff.

Good evening Chris,
I am very happy if I can help a little.
Of course, you can use the photos.

I wish you a problem-free move. We say here; three moves are like a burnt house. . . affraid

Best wishes and all the best for 2017,

K.W.
