Is it a Mammillaria and, if so, what species? Mamm_w11[quote]

Hello! I recently purchased this cactus from the cactus shop at the Living Desert in Palm Desert, CA. The clerk said that it was a Mammillaria, but she wasn't sure which species. It's about three inches in height.

I agree that it does appear to be a Mammillaria, but it could also be a Coryphantha or an Escobaria. At any rate, does anyone here have any good idea as to which species this might be?

Thanks so much!

Wayne
