I would suggest that the first photo is something in series Supertextae, possibily M.dixanthocentron or M.haageana complex. It could even be a long spined M.columbiana but it is not M.canelensis.
To compare, this is a plant of M.flavicentra Rog 138

Your 2nd plant is a bit more difficult. I do not think it is M.wagneriana. This calls for 9-10 radial spines and 2-4 central spines. It could be M.melanocentra has labeled. The spine counts fits apart from the colour of the central spine which is given has black. In some species the spine colour can change with age. Another possiable is M.mystax with 3-7 radials and 1-4 centrals, some flowers would be of great help.

The second plant looks more like saxicola to me.
