I cant decide if this is a mammillaria like spinosissima or a cleistocactus like hyalacanthus. Anyone know what this cactus is? Thanks Richard

Mammillaria for sure, probably Spinosissima ssp pilcayensis...

Well, its a Mammillaria as it has axils at the base of the tubercles. As to species, yes I think a spinosissima type. _________________ Chris43, moderator
