This one I've uploaded to two different forums with little fortune. I suppose it's a Gymnocalycium, but I'm not even sure.

Maybe, but I wonder if it's rather a spineless Eryosice?

Very interesting. I think you're probably right. I'll take a look on Eryosice species.

I can't spot any image of that species that looks similar to mine. Have you found some?

I looked on the web for any possibilities, but found none. On the other hand, the buds of Eriosyce are hairy right from the start, whereas the one on you picture is clearly naked. So, back to your suggestion: it's likely a Gymnocalycium.

What a pity. The possibility of being Eriosyce was really appealing.
