Definitely not carmenae. Are these the same plant? Photos 1 & 3 show a plant with, I think, 2 centrals and looks to me like a short spined form of M. geminispina. The second photo shows a plant with more centrals, maybe 4 or 5, but it might be the lighting in photos that is misleading me.

Certainly not M. carmenae, I fully agree with Chris. My first guess is M. candida.
