| There is a Mammillaria spinossissima un pico (meaning 1 spine), but yours is certainly not that. It looks more like a fairly normal spinossissima.

| Hello Wolter Yes I think you are right, there are two centrals as opposed to the single of the var.pica The plant was labelled when I bought it and I did not look too closely at the spination especially as the grower is (I presume) an expert in this field. | |
