Many mammillyarschiki have in their collections of plants from South America, and others. The theme Other collections, such as chip shots together on the principle of "one more building block ...". This is a forum for people who love Mammillarias and related genera (Escobaria, Coryphantha, Neolloydia) but I don't mind if in our Other Collections folder members post photos of other plants, as part of their collections.
I would not want to turn this forum into a more general cactus forum, as there are many others. So if you want to feature south American plants, I am happy to see them as part of a larger collection, for example KW, who posts his collection pictures which include many other genera, but also lots of Mamms.
I would not allow a separate sub-forum about South American plants as that would be against the concept of this forum.
Why not start a forum for those plants, its quite easy and forumotion.net is free and has many tools to help you start.
