| OK, I'll have a go. #1 could be M. haageana #2 could be M. pettersonii or wagneriana #3 could be ?? not sure. _________________ Chris43, moderator

| Thank you very much, Chris! #2 very much looks like M. wagneriana to me, now that I've seen some pics with new growth - that seems quite characteristic to me. M. haageana is what I thought about #1 too, but that was just a hunch Hopefully, someone will recognize #3 too, do you think it's a hybrid? | |

| #3 could be a M. sempervivi form, what do you think Chris? | |

| Coming back to this thread, I would also suggest M. columbiana for plant 1, as it is quite yellow spined, a possibility to look into anyway. For plant 3, I think that the suggestion of something like M. sempervivi is in the right direction, but I would put it closer to M. formosa, maybe the pseudocrucigera subspecies. M. formosa is a very variable species. _________________ Chris43, moderator

| Hey PVV, looks quite similar. Hopefully there will be some flowers soon on both of them and then we'll see | |

| Thanks, PVV. My plant was getting woolier and woolier before the buds formed, so that might be a good sign that it is getting ready to flower.
#2 is starting to flower too, so I'll post some pictures of it with flowers soon. | |
