| M. muehlenpdfordtii doesn't offset, at least not normally. It branches dichotomously. What are we looking at? one plant with three offsets, or 2 or .....?? The main head has, from what I can see, 2 to 4 central spines, often on this plant 3, and maybe around 30 radials, though its difficult to count them. Is there wool in the axils? and any bristles (or hairs) there? _________________ Chris43, moderator

| I think these are 4 different plants (not the one with offsets), bought together... Often seen in a holland mixes! | |

| Goodmorning Chris,Mmartic, I become this plant as a present from a friend. Chris: Yes I see white wool in the axils and I think the flowers are pink. Thanks for your explanation! Joseph

| If there are really 4 plants there, then I would repot as soon as possible. It will help sort out exactly what you have got there. Wool in the axils, good, but are there bristles or hairs as well , they should be longer than the wool if they are there. _________________ Chris43, moderator
