I was browsing through some old links I had saved, and found this website.

It is one way of growing from seed, and has much in common with the baggie method favoured by many.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for that, very thorough exercise. Maybe not recommend taking grit / gravel from your local beach though. But will certaintly try leaving some sowings in a tray of water till fully germinated.
