Hi cactusero, After deliberating whether the plant was on a graft or not, a side view would be good, I assumed it wasn't and was a taller globose growing specimen rather than a more squatter one. With that in mind I plumped for M. Haageana, because of the darker central spines. The more whitish overall appearance leads me towards subsp. San- Angelensis. I think certainly a plant from the Supertextae. Derek.

i think that in m.haageana ssp san-angelensis central spines are not so short and black... the central spines are white, darker at the tip. and i don't think this could be in supertexrae group. maybe could be a m.pseudoperbella also for the coluor and the darker midstripe of the flowers.

Thank you very much Derek and Maurillio.
This is a side view of the Mammillaria. She has never been grafted, is about 7 cms in diameter and about 20 cm high.

Hi cactusero, Now I can see the whole plant I agree with Maurillio M. Pseudoperbella. Although your plant is rather taller than usually seen in cultivation approx. 10-15 cm. Derek.

Hi, from the lovely Lake Como, and my new tablet, thanks to WiFi. Maurillio and deladmo are right, this s probably pseudoperbella which of course isn"t a perfect species according to some.
