A fellow cacti blogger sent me this picture for an ID that they grew from seed ... any ideas? All the info I have is that it is 1.5 years old ...

Would appear to be an Opuntia, probably Subulata. It appears to be growing in insufficient light, as the growth looks somewhat etiolated. Needs to be kept in a position where it will received more direct sunlight for a good few hours. A windowsill being ideal, facing south or south-east.
