Mammillaria variabilis
Althought Hunt refers this species to M.fittkaui, plants grown from seed obtained from Reppenhagen, which produced flowers varying from whitish, cream-yellow to pink, in accordance with the given name and description, owe more to M.crinita.
The Fitz Maurices also regard it as synonymous with M.crinita.
