Mammillaria huajuapensis Bravo
Body simple, globose, 10-12 cm. diameter, with apex sunken and woolly.
Tubercles with milky sap, in 21 and 34 spirals, tightly arranged, olive-green,
with more or less pronounced edges, .8 mm. long and 8 mm. diameter at base.
Axils with numerous white bristles sometimes longer than the tubercles, and with
white wool when young in the floral zone.
Areoles somewhat elliptical, at first with scarce whitish wool.
Central.spines 2 (3), subulate, 3-5 mm. long, reddish-brown and black towards the tip.
Radial spines 6-8, white with reddish point, subulate, 3-8 mm. long.
Flowers, according to the dried remains of the perianth, purple.
Fruit 2 cm. long, purple.
Seeds less than 1 mm. long, light brown colour.
