Mammillaria glochidiata v. xiloensis
This variety is differentiated by Reppenhagen for its thick roots, larger, more flat-globular stem, and greater number of spines, both radial and central (of a yellow cast).
As Hunt indicates, it bears little relationship to M.glochidiata.
it is more like the type of M.crinita occurring in the same area.
