The above plant came, ( with another ) from Jara Dohanlik a few years ago on the graft. I do not believe that they are difficult on there own roots, its just that they are a bit quicker to grow and flower on a graft. At some point I will remove them from the grafts and root them down.
I also have plants of L 1495 & L 1557 which came from il sole rarita botaniche,
Seedlings of TL 185, TL 189, TL 327, TL 329 which came from Chris,
and seedlings of L 066 and MZ 421 which I have grown from seed.
I also have plants of WM 5170 under the name of crucigera but in the Mammillaria Society Journal, Feb 2009, page 5, Thomas Linzen places this under his new name of huitizilopochlti v.cuicatlanensis fa. minnihii n.n. ( TL 329 ).
In the same article Linzen lists other new varieties such has v. coyopoliana n.n. ( TL 034 ), v. cuicatlanensis fa. multispina n.n. ( TL 327 ) and v. imperialis n.n. ( TL 185 ).
