Hugo,
does any of your Rog 88 still have any central spines. I germinated about 40 seedlings from last year's AfM seedlist of which about 7 had centrals. Will they keep these central spines or will they lose them has they grow.

No central spines. Think they may loose them when growing up. I bought this one last year at Rogozinski's and there were a lot of them, but none with centrals. I'm pretty sure If there were some with centrals I would have bought them.
Difficult to see on the picture but hamatispina have more spines with reddish tips
