Nice plants, Ento. I have a few in flower now, mostly of the Supertextae series, which is unusual for me. I moved house and until March 2017 the plants were in a dark garage (heated, just) but the new greenhouse has much better light than my old one. I think some of the plants are still adjusting to the new conditions because I haven't had flowers before in January. It's not been too cold here in the UK, but I keep the greenhouse at 5C at night, so now that it is about -3C overnight, they are comfortable.

Thanks, Chris. My greenhouses are not heated, the temperature was -1C only two days in December, January was not very cold. I leave the plants, from the end of October, to the dry, they will see the first water in the first days of April, temperature permitting. In these days it is raining and the temperature is around 3C at night. In the nearby hills the snow has fallen. I wait days with the sun to photograph other plants.

Excellent plants, so good to see when we have snow, ice and -6C at night, and 1C max at day. But that will be 7C by Sunday, they day.

This year the blooms are late, February was rainy and cold, with just a few sunny days. In the nights of the last two days the temperature was -4 c and March started with snow.

I have a yellow spines bombycina that came from Koehres seed. It was listed as bombycina Colomos. In 2010 on a field trip I saw this yellow spines form, and the next village we went through was Colomos!

On June 2015 Walter Hellinx sent me a Mammillaria bombycina (Koeres Samen) from Colomos.
It shows normally colored spines....

In the Pilz catalog of 2012 the seeds were without location data:
