It was bought as M. compressa tolimensis - is it??

Here's the plant, now in flower.



I suspect that it is a form of karwinskiana, as I think compressa doesn't have anywhere as long bristles as this, and in any case the flower colour is wrong. But what form of karwinskiana - its got a lot more bristles, and less wool than any other of my plants.

Not compressa, Chris. Agree, it belongs into the karwinskiana group. We could begin to exclude some: not karwinskiana, not confusa, not nagliana or tropica. I remember that I had have once a very similar plant, named praellii (its now in Paul's collection) and these plant is lumped under karwinskiana. I would be nice if we could see a picture from this praellii, so Paul....?
