How do some of the plants adapt to your Cuban climate? Some of your list, like Gymnocactus for example, are adapted to very dry conditions, both soil and air.

My cactus are under a cover of revealed plastic, (the humidity in Cuba is over 80%) in summer I aplicate irrigation water them two times per week, in winter once times per week. Some spices are engrafted in hilocereus.
