Today 30-3-08. This is the yellow spined from of ssp texana called forma pusilla. It is supposed to come true from seed, so I will remove the seed pots and try to germinate them. Not that keen to flower with me.

Hi Mark,
I thought that pusilla was a synonym of prolifera itself, and that here had been plants named as pusilla v texana. Whatever, the planti s a nice one, lighter spines that the other two forms, more reminiscent of v. haitensis.
