Maurillo photos

Maurillo has posted a lot of interesting and nice photos of many Mammillaria species. This makes a nice archive. Yet, from time to time he replies to his own photos without adding any new comment or new photos. Can anybody explain what the use is of such non-messages?

I can't, but hopefully Maurillio will be able to! It might be a quirk of this Forum system, in which case I might be able to do something.

i can explain....
it is just to get the new posts in alphabetical order....
yesterday i had.....
m.pubispina first and after pachycilindrica, pacifica eccc.........
now with the function reply alpabetical order is ok.

i didn't want to disturb and i used my locig...
if there is a better way, for me is ok.

This is not a problem, Maurizio. Now I understand what you are doing, and I have looked to see if the Forum software could automatically do this, but I cannot see a way. All that can be done is to delete that last post, once you have them in the right order. This is something that you could do as you have administration rights for your Collection subforum.

Oh.....in that case, it has to stay as it is.

Right, I have found out more about this. There is a parameter associated with each subforum which specifies the order of the topics. I have changed all the subfora to show topics in alphabetic sequence, A - Z.
I have tested it by deleting a few of the posts which no text, and this leaves the sequence unchanged.
So, I hope in future there will be no need to add the extra posts.
