this on the label but i don't recognize ssp obconella
does anyone have sb 364 in their collection?
may i have a photo of it?

I would say that it is a plant of obconella that has suffered from lack of nutrients. Once in fresh compost it should start to produce longer spines within a few years..

No, not that collection.
I do have young plants of ML 004 and will post a photo of it at the weekend.

The seed came from Lacoste via the Doug Rowland 2007 seedlist.
Seed sown 25-2-07, germinated 4-3-07

This is my plant of Mammillaria polythele ssp. obconella SB364. I don't think it is ssp. obconella, I think the original identification might have been wrong.

according with Chris, maybe Steven Brack must have made a mistake when naming this plant.
