Hi everyone I'm Nancy from western NC; I'm 60 years old and recently seperated. I have been collecting cacti for several years and mamms are my favorite... even tho I only have the most common ones (usually from box stores). I would love to eventually have only mamms as my 'thorny' cacti. (I also collect the holiday cacti). The area I live doesn't have any greenhouses that sell cacti... which might be a good thing as I'm on a very tiny, limited budget..lol. Nancy

Welcome to this forum. Feel free to ask any questions, I am sure between us we can come up with most answers. Has regards obtaining plants, I would be happy to send you some of my spare seedlings to help you along. I do not know what the / if any, plant import restricitions are into the U.S. If you could find out and get back to me I would be pleased to help.

Hello Nancy, nice to meet you at this Forum. As you probably noticed, we have got here outstanding experts in mammillarias, as Chris, Hugo or Mark (look at the older posts) and still icreasing group of mammillarias's fans from all over the world also with little budget too.
