your second plant could the montrose form of M.painteri which you some times see, but I am not to sure. They are really ugly plants which would not find space in my collection, but then I will not grow cristates or, has far as possilbe, grafts.

This monstrous, acquired in ELK is marketed as Echinopsis.

But I think it is Mammillaria. His spine is hooked.

These monsters look like hairless cats, the Sphynx.
But there are very hairy monstersas the cv. "Oruga blanca" developed in a town near Valencia, Catadau, by Guy Xhonneux.

Now this looks more interesting.
I have seen pictures of number of these different clones of gracilis such has petit joeux, roi baudoin, belleavista, gracitulis, and the other clone of oruga blanca. I have been trying to find out where to get these from but have never been able to find out whether these are available from a nursery.
Were did you get your from and do you have a contact you could recommed.
