Hi Vicent,

your second plant could the montrose form of M.painteri which you some times see, but I am not to sure. They are really ugly plants which would not find space in my collection, but then I will not grow cristates or, has far as possilbe, grafts.

Thank you for the identification, Tam.
The monsters also have their hearts I love you .
This monstrous, acquired in ELK is marketed as Echinopsis.

But I think it is Mammillaria. His spine is hooked.

Cool These monsters look like hairless cats, the Sphynx.
But there are very hairy monstersas the cv. "Oruga blanca" developed in a town near Valencia, Catadau, by Guy Xhonneux.

Now this looks more interesting.
I have seen pictures of number of these different clones of gracilis such has petit joeux, roi baudoin, belleavista, gracitulis, and the other clone of oruga blanca. I have been trying to find out where to get these from but have never been able to find out whether these are available from a nursery.
Were did you get your from and do you have a contact you could recommed.

Tam, the example that shows of the cultivar "Oruga blanca" is the first clone, which were very few copies.

The clone that was marketed was this:

The other day I was looking for a couple of "Oruga blanca" to the nursery of Catadau for a friend and I were very few other mixed cactus. Guy Xhonneux moved to Colombia years ago and Catadau stopped proucir these cultivars.

I was told that these were two cactus "Oruga blanca" but I have not yet seen the flower.

The cultivar "Roi Baudoin" has long central spines and pink flowers.
Is much larger. I did not see any copies in Catadau.

The cultivar "petit joeux" is smaller:

With regard the cultivar "Bellavista," I do not know to distinguish it from the "Arizona snow cup"

They also had, at the time, other cultivars, and the cultivar "Catadau" cv "Osito blanco" and others, but no longer have any.

Send me your postal address and, if I have any "Oruga blanca" as I got to my friend, I send you it.
